Sheridan Back to All Lodges
Nestled at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains in northcentral Wyoming, Sheridan Lodge #520 conducts many outdoor events for our Vets, Youth and Community. The Annual Elks Youth Rodeo draws hundreds of contestants from all over the neighboring states for kids ranging in age under 6-17. The Lodge sponsors Vet programs each summer at the Big Horn Equestrian Center and provides them with free meals while viewing the polo games. Youth have the opportunity to participate in fishing outings hosted by the Lodge. With its start in 1941, each member along with their spouse and minor children have the benefit of burial in our Elks Memorial Cemetery with perpetual care. There are many fraternal events that keep our members engaged in charitable fund raisers and growth of membership. The Sheridan Lodge was Chartered in 1899, and is the oldest lodge of the B.P.O.E. in the State of Wyoming. The Lodge currently has the largest membership of all the lodges in the state at this time, and was recently was awarded a Citation of Merit from Grand Lodge for outstanding contribution to the growth of the Order in membership.
